La Paz, Bolivia --

American by birth, the Larsen Family are the main opponent to legalize lands of Alto Parapti, in the province of Cordillera. They own 57,144 hectares (6249,348 yards) of land in the Department of Santa Cruz.

According to data given by National Institute of Agrarian Reform (INRA Spanish initials), Ronald Din Larsen and his family own 17 land properties: in the province of Cordillera, five properties; in Ñuflo de Chavez, three properties; in Velasco, nine properties.

Last Friday, when the INRA representatives led by the Vice-minister of lands, Alejandro Almaraz, ware
Attacked with guns by stockbreeders from Caparicito, Ronald Din Larsen was who instigated the movement to stop lands legalization.

Larsen was born in 1944; he arrived in Bolivia many years ago, using the passport 710968397. He does not have registration of Bolivian Identity card.

Based on that background and his participation in the aggression to the INRA representatives, the Bolivian Government will carry out an investigation about the legal situation of this foreigner.

"He is a foreigner who does not have Bolivian citizenship, he only has an indefinite stay given by Bolivian authorities" said the Minister of Government, Alfredo Rada in previous statements.

The INRA representatives are still in Caraparicito trying to enter Alto Parapeti to legalize lands; nevertheless, stockbreeders began a blockade of main road, which links this municipality with Santa Cruz city.
